KAPPA MEEN PUZHUKU

Ingredients
Tapioca/Kappa                              - 1kg
Indian mackerel/Sardines               - 500gm
Turmeric powder                          -1/2 teaspoon
Chilly powder                                - 1/2 teaspoon
Greenchilly                                     - 2
Coconut                                         - 1b
Garlic                                             - 4
Onion                                             - 1/2 size
Jeerakam                                        - 1/2teaspoon
Salt                                                 - to taste

Method:
  • clean and cut the tapioca,and cooked  with salt and turmeric in a preasure cook for 2 whistles
  • clean the fish,add water,turmeric and salt and bring the whole thing for 1 minute boil.
  • grind coconut,jeerakam,greenchilly, onion,garlic without adding water
  • clean the fish by removing the bones
  • mix the whole thing togther and add salt.
